Welcome to GoodsTAXI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services. By accessing or using our marketplace, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of GoodsTAXI Services

GoodsTAXI operates an online marketplace connecting customers who require transport services ("Shippers" or "Customers") with independent transport providers ("Drivers" or "Providers"). GoodsTAXI is not a transport provider, freight forwarder, or carrier. We do not provide transport services directly and are not responsible for the actual delivery of cargo.

2. User Accounts & Verification

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to register and use this platform.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
• Driver Requirements: Drivers must hold a valid driver's license, appropriate commercial insurance, and vehicle registration compliant with Australian transport laws.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account details and password.

3. Bookings, Listings, and Pricing

• Customers may list cargo/jobs, specify requirements, and request quotes.
• Drivers may offer quotes, post return trips, or list vehicle capacity.
• Once a quote is accepted by a Customer, a binding agreement is formed directly between the Customer and the Driver.
• GoodsTAXI charges service or commission fees for facilitating transactions, which are disclosed prior to transaction completion.

4. Payment Terms

Payments for jobs/trips are processed through integrated payment processors (e.g., PayPal) or digital wallets. Shippers agree to pay the agreed job amount, and Drivers receive payouts after successful delivery verification, subject to platform commission fees.

5. Code of Conduct & Responsibilities

• Users must behave professionally, legally, and ethically.
• Drivers are solely responsible for the safety, securing, and transport of cargo.
• Shippers must not list hazardous, illegal, or prohibited materials for transport.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoodsTAXI is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the actions of users, delays, damage to cargo, personal injury, or loss of earnings arising from the use of our marketplace.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the platform's reputation.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes, and your continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
